After 10 years of working at the site that has been a place for my outlet as a writer in which I've evolved over the years.

I've decided that no matter if my suspension is lifted or not. I will not return. I will keep my reviews there as a storage for archives and will now focus on writing reviews on my own blog.

This year has been very difficult for me personally as I'm currently going through a lot of issues. I took a bit of time off to not write for a while but it wasn't enough.

There's been a lot of things lately at Epinions that has made not want to come back at all. The politics is among those reasons. Personally, I loathe the people who run the site who I feel are incompetent and full of shit. For years, the writers in the movie category have been wanting a General Movies category and we never got it.

I thought it was the fault of the movie Leads but I was wrong. I apologized to millinocket for accusing her of not doing her job when really it wasn't her fault at all.

It's not just the general feeling of backstage politics that has left me sour over the atmosphere of the site. It's individuals as well. Some of whom I believe are not very good writers and they get a pass for favoritism. We all know sleeper54 as some grammar hog and the proponent of the Lean-N-Mean W/O. Well, I think he's nothing but a fucking hack who can't write for shit. How can anyone write a profound piece on something like Lawrence of Arabia, The Man Who Fell to Earth, or any grand statement in the realm of art in less than 600 words?

Some things can't be said in less than that. Sure, I'm a pretentious writer but who isn't? What I try to do is reveal what is needed to be revealed but not unveil too much. For that, I've gotten better but most of all. I've learned what not to do.

That is what led to me being suspended because some fucking moron decided to compare one inane thing to another.

You can't do that. You have to let the artform stand by itself unless there is something that needs to compared to. I should've called that person Armond White because he/she is a an idiot.

I will not apologize for what I said and I'm not going to take it back. Fuck that cunt and fuck everyone else who has been stepping over me for the past few years. I refuse to have the site become a breeding grounds for the Armond Whites and Ben Lyons of the world.

For anyone that still wants to read me, go to Surrender to the Void. Though I won't be writing as much as I used to. I will still be writing.
